“The Hedgehog Sonic” beats “Big Detective Pikachu” to break the record for best opening in North American film history tour

According tomedia CNET reported that the game adaptation of the film “Sonic the Hedgehog” opened well, three days to win $57 million, breaking the previous “Big Detective Pikachu” to maintain the North American film history tour theme of the three-day best opening record – 54.3 million U.S. dollars.

Although the first trailer for “Sonic The Hedgehog” caused a lot of criticism last year, the film has now gained a good reputation after remaking. Paramount’s improved design of Sonic’s image, which was released on February 14th after a three-month delay, has received most rave reviews.

The film focuses on Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) who leaves his alien ball to Earth, where he learns the meaning of true friendship while blocking the plans of the scientific genius Dr. Egghead to rule the world.

“Sonic The Hedgehog” grossed $43 million outside North America, bringing its total to $100 million.
