On February 20th,media exposed a positive rendering of Google’s Pixel 5 XL. As shown in the figure, the front of the Pixel 5 XL is similar to the Pixel 4 XL, with a larger upper border width than the lower border and supports 3D face recognition. Unlike the Pixel 4 XL, the Pixel 5 XL’s back camera looks like an “emoji bag” and the camera is upgraded to three cameras, possibly with an ultra-wide angle.
Core configuration, the Pixel 5 XL is equipped with Qualcomm SnapDragon865 flagship platform, which may be equipped with 8GB of memory and support spline 5G network.
What’s more, the Pixel 5 XL will feature a high refresh rate display and a high-capacity battery. Given that the Pixel 4 Series comes standard with a 90Hz screen, the Pixel 5 XL has a screen refresh rate of at least 90Hz, and the possibility of 120Hz is not ruled out.
As for battery capacity, due to the addition of 5G network, power consumption is bound to increase significantly, so high-capacity batteries are imperative. Given that the Pixel 4 XL has a battery capacity of 3700mAh, it is assumed that the Pixel 5 XL battery capacity may exceed 4000mAh.
Of course, as Google’s flagship model, pre-installed with the latest Android 11 is already a must- and is expected to be released in October 2020, we’ll see.
