BEIJING, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) — Tesla jumped eight places to the top of its annual auto brand rankings thursday, ranking 11th out of 33 auto brands and first among U.S. auto brands.
For the first time, the model 3 is on the list of top 10 models, with the model sits on the list for $45,000 to $55,000.
Porsche’s overall ranking has jumped to the top of the list this year, up two places from last year, with Hyundai’s Genesis and Subaru in second and third place.
Consumer Reports’ assessments are based on road testing, reliability data, vehicle owner satisfaction surveys, and safety performance. Tesla’s improved ranking represents steady progress in improving the quality and reliability of its cars.
