Microsoft’s Dublin headquarters is expanding its new Garage: easy for employees to collaborate on development tests

Microsoft plans to provide a dedicated “Garage facility” for employees working at the One Microsoft Court building in Dublin, Ireland, which is currently under renovation. The company will continue to pursue the motto of “do more, talk less”, after the completion of the renovation of the area to facilitate staff to carry out various tests.

The Garage facility is understood to contain two core areas, including a conference center, a hackathon, and workshops for employees to explore and create innovation. The Maker Space will also serve as a device area for employees to explore their creative projects and learn along the way.

Microsoft Garage accommodates a growing number of projects, including drawing apps for Windows 10, vocabulary generators for Android, and more. In fact, some of the company’s applications, such as Microsoft Launcher, started as a garage project.
