Sapphire bursts three AMD mini-machines: 14nm Ryzen and 28nm Cougar

Today, Sapphire released its own three AMD platform mini-machines, not only 14nm process of the new Ryzen, as well as 28nm process of the older generation of products, really old-fashioned.

Sapphire’s mini captain is only 4 x 4 inches (10.1 x 10.1 cm) in width, of which “BP-FP5V” active cooling, equipped with AMD Ryzen V1605B, Rylong R1606G, are 14nm Zen architecture.

Among them, Ryzen V1605B 4 core 8 thread, main frequency 2.0-3.6GHz, integrated Vega 8 512SP/1.1GHz, thermal design power consumption 15W, adjustable range 12– 25W; Ryzen R1606G 2 Core 4 thread, main frequency 2.6-3.5GHz, integrated Vega 3 192SP/1.2GHz, thermal design power 12-25W.

There are two DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM memory slots (up to 32GB), one SATA 6Gbps interface, one M.2 2260 slot (PCIe x4/SATA), one M.2 2230 slot (PCIe x1), Infineon SLB9670 TPM 2.0 security chip with two DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0, three USB 3.1, two gigabit RJ-45s, a 3.5mm headset interface, 12-19V powered.

“NP-FP5V” is also active cooling, equipped with the Rylong R1505G, Rylong R1305G, the former is the Reelon 1606G down-frequency version, CPU 2.4-3.3GHz, GPU 1.0GHz, the latter model has never seen before, obviously the specifications will be further reduced.

Compared to BP-FP5V, it eliminates the SATA interface, the TPM security chip, and the interface is changed to two miniDP 1.4, two USB 3.1, two USB 2.0, one gigabit RJ-54, and one 3.5mm.

“BP GX424CC-LC2” optional active or passive cooling, processor for GX-424CC, 28nm process, four Puma plus Cougar architecture 2.4GHz CPU core, secondary cache 2MB, integrated Radeon R5E GPU 128SP/497MHz, thermal design power consumption 25W, performance similar to Intel Trail.

Other configurations include a DDR3-1866 SO-DIMM memory slot (up to 16GB), an M.2 2280, an M.2 2230, two HDMI, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, a gigabit RJ-45, and a 3.5mm.
