AMD announced today that the Ryzen R1000 series of embedded processors has added two new products, featuring ultra-low power consumption, with tDP (thermal design power consumption) as low as 6W and a maximum of 10W. Launched last April, the Ryzen R1000 series supports fanless designs based on a 14nm process, Zen-Vega dual architecture.
The first batch of more than 20 manufacturers of more than 30 programs, has been widely used in digital signage, amusement machines, industrial control, edge computing, thin clients, network equipment and other embedded fields.
The first two models of the series are Ryzen R1606G, Rylong R1505G, all dual core four threads, CPU frequency is 2.6-3.5GHz, 2.4-3.3GHz, second-level cache 1MB, three-level cache 4MB, integrated Vega 3 GPU core, frequency is 1.2GHz, frequency is 1.2GHz, 1.0GHz, thermal design power consumption 12-25W.
Today’s new products, one is “Rylong R1305G”, dual core four-thread, main frequency 1.5-2.8GHz, integrated Vega 3 GPU, frequency 1.0GHz, thermal design power standard 8W, adjustable to 10W.
The other is the “Rylong 1102G”, a dual-core dual-threaded, the only one in the family that does not support multithreaded technology, the main frequency is further reduced to 1.2-2.6GHz, but still integrated With Vega 3 1.0GHz, thermal design power consumption to the zone 6W, also supports BIO self-configuration in the BIOS.
Other technical aspects, DDR4-2400 dual-channel memory, dual-mega-network card port, three-screen 4K/60fps output, H.265/VP6 video codec, secure trusted root/safe operation, two USB 2.0 and four USB 3.1 interfaces, up to 105 degrees C and a range of technical features, are all remaining intact.
As an embedded product, both still offer a life support cycle of up to 10 years, which is available until 2030.
At the same time, AMD has also announced several new mini-machines based on the Embedded Ryzen R1000 and Ryzen V1000, including Sapphire’s BP-FP, NP-FP5, Simply NUC’s Post Oak, Red Oak, SECO’s ECOUDOO BOLT GEAR, The latter even supports the simultaneous output of four-screen 4K60fps.
