Although AMD has caught up with or even surpassed Intel in many areas in recent years, it is still less popular with manufacturers in the notebook space. The newly released ThinkPad T14s are the latest proof that only Intel processor versions have a 4K UHD HDR screen, while ryzen processor versions don’t have the option.

Even worse, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14, with an AMD Ryzen Pro 4000 processor, doesn’t offer the UHD panel option in the screen section, and the model doesn’t have a full-size RJ45 Ethernet port and doesn’t have memory upgrades. The T14, which is equipped with intel processors, does not have these restrictions.
