Microsoft launches Halo: Battle anniversary edition supports 4K and higher frame rates

In Tuesday’s announcement, Microsoft unexpectedly revealed that the anniversary edition of Halo: Battle had landed on the Windows PC platform. The original debut landed on Microsoft’s own Xbox console platform in 2001, transitioned to a PC in 2003 and turned over to Xbox 360 in 2011. But to celebrate the franchise’s 10th anniversary, Microsoft decided to bring audio and graphics enhancements and introduce a remake of the PC.

Brian Jarrard, Community Director at Developer 343 Industries, says:

The Halo: Battle anniversary edition already supports speed runs of 4K UHD and 60fps or more.

Supported by key mouse operation and various aspect ratiodisplay devices, texture and shadow quality are updated.

There are even features of community chanting, such as classic audio in multiplayer mode.

As part of Halo: Sergeant’s Collection, the suit is priced at $39.99 (278 RMB). If purchased separately, it is $9.99 (69 RMB).

The work has also been added to the Sergeant’s Long Collection on PC/Xbox Game Pass, where players who already subscribe can experience it.
