U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a $7.8 billion emergency spending bill for a new coronavirus outbreak, Bloomberg reported. The spending bill was signed by Mr. Trump on March 6, according to Bloomberg. The bill provides far more than the $2.5 billion trumped by Trump initially.
Lawmakers have said they expect Congress to approve more emergency spending to calm the new coronavirus outbreak.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in the United States has risen to 233, including 14 deaths, according to the latest outbreak data released by Johns Hopkins University.
