NVIDIA cancels GTC Conference webcast: “Ampere” graphics card most paper release

Following the switch to live events in Silicon Valley, NVIDIA has again adjusted the format of the GTC (GPU Conference Technology, GPU Technology Symposium) conference at the end of the month, which was also canceled. Instead, NVIDIA will only issue a press release, scheduled for March 24.

However, NVIDIA said it would still hold an investor conference call after the launch of the new product, which will be attended by CEO Huang Renxun, who will attend from 8 a.m. Pacific time (23 p.m. Beijing time).

GTC is the most important GPU technology exchange hosted by NVIDIA, and without the outbreak, the 11th Congress was scheduled to be held on March 22 at the San Jose Convention Center in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA, with over 10,000 participants.

Previously, there was speculation that NVIDIA would unveil the details of the next generation of Ampere core GPU for graphics cards such as the RTX 3080 Ti on the GTC. According to the latest news, NV intends to distribute 8192 CUDAs, 48GB HBM2E splots, main frequency 2.2GHz, and power consumption of 300W for the GA100 core.
